A small, modern waterfront hotel, the Hotel Apoksiomen is set in a resort town on a Dalmatian island, 35 kilometres by road and ferry from Rijeka. The 25 wheelchair accessible guestrooms are brightly decorated in light yellow and blue shades and have modern furnishings and views over the street. All include air conditioning, satellite television, Internet connections, minibars, desks, safes and bathrooms with shower/tub combinations.
The hotel's informal restaurant and coffee house features colourful, contemporary furniture and opens onto a palm fringed outdoor terrace overlooking the sea. Further afield, the busy fishing harbour at Veli Losinj is three kilometres away, and visitors can walk along the ramparts and explore the cathedral at the former Roman trading settlement of Osor, 20 kilometres from the hotel. Rijeka Krk Airport is 35 kilometres away, a journey of approximately an hour by car and ferry.

A taxi from the airport or the shuttle service organised by the hotel are the recommended means of reaching the hotel. Mali Losinj is best explored on foot or on a hired scooter.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow the signs for the island of Losinj. Catch a ferry from the village of Valbiska to Losinj, and then follow signs for Mali Losinj. The hotel is located in the town centre.
