Location. Housed in a renovated 14th century Carmelite monastery in Siena, the Il Chiostro del Carmine is a city centre hotel, located within 400 metres of the cathedral and the Piazza del Campo. Florence Vespucci Airport (FLR) is 86 kilometres away and takes approximately an hour to reach by car.
Hotel Features. Guests can start the day with a buffet breakfast in the hotel's breakfast room, housed in the converted Tinaia del Frati cellar and surf the web via the hotel's wireless Internet access. The hotel houses a meeting room in the restored 16th century Choir with antique features, an ornate tiled floor and an exposed wooden ceiling. Practical amenities include private parking and laundry facilities (fees may apply).

Getting there. Trains run from Florence Santa Maria Novella Station to Siena. Alternatively taxis are available and cost approximately EUR 130 to the hotel.
Driving directions. From the airport, take the highway to Siena and enter at Siena Ovest. Head for Parking del Duomo, then onto Via Bastianini and then onto Via della Diana.
